An MD-500 crashed near Minsk, the capitol of Belarus, while performing a loop recently. The German pilot was involved in a competition for helicopter tactical sport. The crash occurred at the airfield in Borovaya which caused the helicopter to burst in to flames upon impact. Pretty incredible footage and RIP.
A Hughes 500 had to make a forced landing today near Hollister, California. There were four on board including two children when they smelled smoke around 2:15 p.m. They were at 1,000 feet at the time and began looking for a place to land.
