Precautionary Landing In Hawaii Yesterday

N500PH

According to a new preliminary report, N500PH, an MD500E being operated by Tropical Helicopters made a precautionary landing on the shoreline. They were about 12 miles from Hilo when unknown circumstances prompted the landing with five on board. Nobody was injured and there wasn’t any damage reported to the aircraft. It was difficult finding a picture of N500PH when searching for Tropical Helicopters but I stumbled on it as a Paradise Helicopters aircraft. Was it sold? Maybe they are all the same company, the registration says K&S Helicopters so who knows.
